Another one t in a series of events encouraging pilots to fly tracking the NDB and introducing the VOR to build upon NDB approaches along our route.
The pdf gives you the information needed to join the event - HOWEVER - you are encouraged not to use GPS, moving map software and to fly in 'grey and rainy weather' to add a bit of excitement!
Oh! and just to make it more interesting - the pdf will give you waypoint and NDB info for the route, but we'll only give you the starting point on the day!
Be Prepared - Important Event Information
p> As a courtesy to other pilots and In accordance with the Flying Club code of practice, please: Try to maintain a minimum 2nm separation, particularly on approach to, and departure from, the airfields.
Spawn to the parking spot of your choice but then move off to an undesignated area BEFORE connecting to the FSD server.
Use the G-FCxx call sign format and not your UKV number (as stated in "Flying with the Flying Club- FAQ"). This helps other pilots identify the aircraft/pilot they are contacting in the sim or on Plan-G.
To help expedite initial departures, after the brief please restrict communications to only those relating to the flight until all a/c are airborne.
Routinely all CIRCUITS to be LEFT HAND unless advised otherwise by the flight lead(or controller).
