Changes to Forum Authentication Method

Moderation Notice: If members get an error when trying to enter their UKV number please make sure that the SPAM BOT field above the UKV Number is also entered upon submission.

Hi All,

In the next few days changes to our Forum Authentication method will become active disabling the need for new members to register with the forums manually; instead logging in using their UKV number & crew centre password.

To allow this I have had to introduce a new required field in all forum accounts which contains every members UKV number.

Please could you follow this link http://forum.flyuk.aero/index.php?act=UserCP&CODE=01 and enter your UKV number where it asks at the top of the page.

I will try and manipulate the database to do this automatically but in the meantime I would appreciate if you would do it manually.

When the new authentication becomes active you will be required to log into the forums using your UKV number and crew center password.
