We hope you are enjoying the summer timetables at Fly UK. The regular online events are getting more popular with our pilots as they get more skilled and confident to fly online. Are you ready to join us online?
Last month's activity at Fly UK had an average of 335 unique pilots per week filing a PIREP in May. We received 2,333 Mainstream PIREPs, 888 Tour PIREPs and 681 Flying Club PIREPs. Membership numbers currently stand at 1,045

Leavers
UKV1619 - Matt Sinclair has stood down from the marketing  due to lack of time. He remains an active Fly UK pilot
 
Joiners
UKV1678 - Morten Hansen has taken up the position of our new Marketing Manager. He will bring some new ideas to Fly UK and relaunch the Skyways Magazine with issues quarterly. He will have a co editor UKV3626 - Ian Grant.

Morten has issued the following statement:-
 
"Taking over as marketing manager, I have some big shoes to fill. One of my top priorities is to relaunch the Skyways magazine and to release a new edition on a quarterly basis with the first new edition hopefully being cleared for takeoff in June.
In order to ensure a broad appeal to both existing members but also potential newcomers we encourage all members to submit either ideas, stories or reviews to share with other members. Remember the Skyways magazine is our magazine and is only as exciting as we make it. I have already reached out to a few members who have embraced my ideas thus far."

Online Events
Events are currently held on FSD, Saturday at 0600z and repeated on VATSIM, Tuesday at 1830z and Thursday at 1300z.
Remember online events have no Rank restrictions so it's a chance to fly different airframes.

Our IVAO event on a weekly basis on Sundays 1230z in Europe. We have decided to make these flights continue on from the previous weeks arrival airport so that it becomes a bit of a tour. Please see the Event Calendar
