Fly UK Virtual Airways are pleased to announce new positions have now become available within the Staff Team. Becoming a member of the Staff Team is both an exciting and challenging commitment, however the utmost of dedication is required at all times.

Position: Graphics Designer
Closing Date: Wednesday April 30th

In this position, you will be responsible for creating and editing website images, as well as promotional images. You will need to combine good design skills and creativity to create appealing and eye catching promotional images with a professional style.

Photoshop (or other image editing program) knowledge is essential for this specialist position. Experience and examples of previous work are not necessary, but will be of benefit to applicants.

Position: Marketing Communications Manager
Closing Date: Wednesday April 30th

In this position, you will be responsible for aiding in the day to day running of the Marketing department, as well as aiding elsewhere within Fly UK wherever needed. See below for more information.

Areas you will be responsible for include:

• Creating a monthly press release to be posted on all Flight Simulator community forums and sites. Press releases should promote Fly UK and its key, fundamental features and continual improvements with the latest news and events.

• Creating and posting press releases and news updates on the Fly UK web site and the Fly UK community forums (if managers from other departments would like for you to create a press release for them, they will supply all information necessary using the ‘Press Release Form’ which will then be forwarded to yourself).

• Liaising, in coordination with the other members of the department, and occasionally, with other virtual airlines and flight simulator organisations.

• Working in coordination with the Marketing Department, other departments and closely alongside the Skyways editorial team.

• Answering any queries or problems that are put forward by Fly UK pilots to the staff inbox or the Fly UK community forums regarding press releases or marketing in general.

Photoshop (or other image editing program) knowledge will be of benefit to any applicants, but of course is not necessary. Applicants should also take into consideration that a good knowledge of the English language including spelling, punctuation and grammar is necessary for this position.
