UKV1121 - Chris Sutcliffe Posted March 12, 2007 Report Share Posted March 12, 2007 Fly UK regrets to announce that Tim Chambers, staff member for 1 1/2 years has had to step down from his Vice CEO position within the staff team here at Fly UK earlier this week. This was due to some personal issues and his reduced availability. After Tim's departure, his position was available for internal applications from within the staff team - only one person has been successful in the application for the Vice CEO position, but a further staff member has also been promoted to take up a newly created position of Chief Operations Officer (COO). After some discussions between Chris and Tim, it was decided that Carl Richards is to take the role of Vice CEO and Dave Whitson is to undertake the new role of Chief Operations Officer. We would like to thank Tim for all his hard work over the last 1 1/2 years, he has been a great asset to Fly UK and will be missed, we wish him all the best for the future and hope he will someday by able to return.
