UKV1121 - Chris Sutcliffe Posted March 31, 2017 Report Share Posted March 31, 2017 Fly UK are extremely pleased to announce that following weeks of negotiations, an agreement has been reached to licence the Fly UK brand to a real world, start-up airline due to commence operations from the South of England. The deal will see the airline use the Fly UK brand for it's airport and website branding as well as the Union Spirit livery for their aircraft. Full details will be released at the airlines official launch event in the coming weeks, however we can confirm that the airline is set to offer a network of UK domestic flights operated by leased regional turbo-prop aircraft. Commenting on behalf of the airline, Director of Operations, Charlie Oscar said: "After considering many different branding ideas and at a time where the country is set to restore our national self-determination, we felt Fly UK was the perfect brand to complement our exciting new UK domestic airline." Statement from the Fly UK VA Exec Team: "This is a truly monumental day for Fly UK. We have had this vision for a long time, and it's amazing to see that our professionalism has finally been spotted. The fact that the Fly UK brand will transition from virtual world to real world in this manner is amazing, and we are very excited about what the future may hold." As part of the agreement, Fly UK VA have secured a 5% discount* on return flight bookings for all active Fly UK VA members.
