Skyways Magazine

[UKV1372 - John Wheat]

Those of you who have been with us for a while may remember that we used to produce a magazine called Skyways. Unfortunately, this was discontinued some time ago due to those involved in its publication no longer having the time to produce it.

 

Well, if there is enough interest from the membership, we would like to bring it back!

 

UKV1546 Reg Griffiths has kindly volunteered to oversee content and provide editorial services, whilst I will work with Reg and manage the magazine’s production.

 

We are looking to publish seasonal quarterly editions, hopefully beginning with an Autumn edition towards the end of October.

 

What do we need from you?

 

In a word, content!

 

We are looking for items such as interesting stories, flight reports, short tutorials, real world event information or reports (to name just a few) and of course an element of humour!
 

This request goes out to both staff and pilots. Without content, there can be no magazine.
 

You can use pretty well any modern format for submissions, including Word, Wordpad, Publisher, or even Notepad. Mac Pages or PDF are also acceptable. Please include pictures where appropriate – these should be in jpeg format please.
 

Finally, just to say that FlyUK cannot be held responsible for copyright abuse, so please ensure that your submissions are either your own work or submitted with the permission of the author.
