Dear Members

Easter is now behind us and the new Summer schedules are rolling out, Have you seen our new Fly UK operations map? The link is on the Operations Page. It's is still being developed but we hope you like it. It's another sign that, with our increased Staff team, things are getting done.
Last month's activity at Fly UK had an average of 347 unique pilots per week filing a PIREP in March. We received 2,216 Mainstream PIREPs, 1,031 Tour PIREPs and 562 Flying Club PIREPs. Membership numbers currently stand at 1,056

Staff News:
Leavers
Last month we announced Gray Brett was standing down as Head of the Fly UK Training Academy. He has now decided to leave the staff and Fly UK for pastures new. We wish him well.

Movers
Kevin Peeters takes on a new Senior Ops Manager role in addition to Nordic franchise duties. Kevin will support the expanded Ops team and contribute to the longer term Ops strategy.

Joiners
UKV1130 - George Shepherd, who was part if the Training Academy for many years before taking a three year break, has just returned just in time to take Gray's place. He will be offering training on GA/VFR to lead to a Virtual Flying PPL.

UKV1325 - Jason Beaumont joins the website support team, giving us his experience in making changes and fixing problems

UKV3411 - Dmitriy Kozyrev joins the staff team in the role of X Plane Livery Painter

Operations
Summer schedules are now live for Mainstream across Domestic European and Long Haul services. Topa Sky also now switches to its Winter schedule (Southern hemisphere seasonal differences) with an expanded fleet and schedule.

Fly 2 remains on Winter schedules until end of April. Our three wet leased 757's operating winter season flights from Montreal will return to the UK from the 15th of April in preparation for UK peak holiday season.

Flying Club

No tour changes. The Wednesday events are repeated on Sundays 13:00 GMT

Online Events
Events are currently held on FSD, Saturday at 0600z and repeated on VATSIM, Tuesday at 1830z and Thursday at 1300z.
Remember online events have no Rank restrictions, so it's a chance to fly different airframes.
