We received 2,011 Mainstream PIREPs, 853 Tour PIREPs and 704 Flying Club PIREPs. Membership numbers currently stand at 982 The Aerosoft Airbus Professional liveries are now available for all our fleet and the Nordic B712 has also been repainted to the new specification required by TFDi. The 2018 Fleet AI and VMR files download has now been updated to include all of our fleet. Awards Some of our awards are not automatic and you must request them - the 5 year and 10 year anniversary of being at Fly UK are two that need you to request, either by posting in the forums or by sending an email to Human Resources. Staff UKV1777 Peter has been removed from the staff list as he has lost contact with us due to real world events. He is currently on long term leave but has emailed me today to say he hopes to have a computer and sim operational by mid November Operations A reminder of the Mainstream, Highland Connect and Topa Sky switch to winter schedule operations commencing 1st November. Fleet New fleet is now in operation as detailed below. Confirmation of Boeing 748F in-service date will follow shortly: Topa Sky - Boeing 787-9 (FSX freeware, Qualitywings and Magknight XP11 versions available) Topa Sky - Dash 8 Q400 (FlyJsim & Majestic versions available, freeware to follow) Highland Connect - Saab 340 (Carenado version available, freeware and LES versions to follow) Flying Club Firstly, we have completed our ‘Epic Wednesdays’ trek across the USA from West to East. It was a close-run thing but the event prize goes to UKV3723 - Andrew Spencer. Attendance awards go to UKV1489 - Alan Blewitt, UKV1432 - Frank Darbyshire, UKV2161 - Philip Beswick, UKV3475 - Mike Bell, UKV1591 - Iain Mcdonald, UKV1790 - Kian Smith and UKV1150 - David Williamson. Congratulation to all! Two new tours will be in place for 1st November - Alaskan Adventure and Flying Club USA West To East Tour. The next review of tours is planned for 01 December 2018. The status of the repeated Sunday flights will be reviewed from 01 December 2018 and probably be used on a more ad hoc basis for Special events. This month, our Wednesday / Sunday Flying Club flights held on the FSD Server, will be a mixed collection of varied, interesting locations and a few technical sessions. Online Events Events are currently held on the FSD, Saturday at 0700z and repeated on VATSIM, Tuesday at 1930z and Thursday at 1400z. Remember, online events have no rank restrictions so it's a chance to fly different airframes. Our IVAO event is on a weekly basis on Sundays at 1330z and is the return journey from the Saturday event.
