Dear Members,

RAF Cosford Flightsim event is now booked, so we will be there for the 2 days 5th/6th October. We hope to meet you there and also to increase our membership numbers. 

Last month's activity at Fly UK saw an average of 301 unique pilots per week filing a PIREP in June. We received 1,966 Mainstream PIREPs, 848 Tour PIREPs and 605 Flying Club PIREPs. Membership numbers currently stand at 974
 

Documentation
Our Oceanic Flying and ATC Communication document has now been updated to version 1.1 and is available to download from under the Training Academy tab. On the same topic, a new Transatlantic Radio Communication Check Sheet for the CYQX - BGBW route is also available from the same location.
 

Flying Club
The World War 1 Centenary Tour was moved to 'Retired' on  01 July 19 - all legs to be completed by 31 August 19. 

A new Ad Hoc  tour has been added for WW2 era aircraft covering airfields used in UK during WW2.

This month, our Wednesday Flying Club flights, held on the FSD server, will be a mixed collection.

Wed 17 July 2019 at 1800z North Iceland

Online Events
Events are currently held on the FSD server on Saturday at 0600z and repeated on VATSIM, Tuesday at 1830z and Thursday at 1300z. 

Remember, online events have no rank restrictions so it's a chance to fly different airframes.

Our IVAO event is on a weekly basis on Sundays at 1230z and we will now be deciding the flight details just 30 minutes before the event , so we can select airports with ATC. Please see the Event Calendar
