Saturday 26th January saw the first Fly UK Real World event of the year. The location for this event was a pub (surprisingly), just short of Manchester's runway 23R - the Airport Hotel. "Manchester was a very enjoyable weekend, it was great to see so many members in person, and it was certainly a good laugh! Real world events are something which we are keen to expand on in 2008 and I can assure you there will be plenty more to come. Some of the plans we have include a trip to the popular Leuchars Airshow in September, and we are also planning either a weekend or day trip to Amsterdam. Furthermore, we will be looking at hosting events in other areas and establishing Fly UK regional member groups throughout the country."
