Dear Members,

Christmas is fast approaching, the UK's grinding to a halt due to the snow, but here at Fly UK there is plenty going on to keep you entertained over the festive period!

We'd like to thank everyone who has begun to use SkyTrack. We hope you find it a much easier method of filing PIREPs. We have received excellent feedback so far and we are committed to making sure SkyTrack works perfectly. If you have any problems, please make sure you tell us about them using the SkyTrack query form. Please provide as much information as possible.

We have a great line up of events this December so if you fly online we hope to see you in the skies!

We're also excited about our new codeshare agreement with woh|group which allows you to fly in America, the Middle East and Asia and log PIREPs at Fly UK! The codeshare also provides a a chance to fly new aircraft types such as the B777-200 and the MD82.

Furthermore we have our seasonal flights to Lapland and we're also looking for new staff team members. If you have ever thought about taking your hobby and love for Fly UK further, take a look at our management careers page!

Looking back at November, we had 417 unique pilots who flew with a UKV callsign and filed a combined total of 2,868 pireps. We received 1,918 mainstream PIREPs, 583 tour PIREPs, 191 flying club PIREPs and 145 FSP PIREPs. 29 pilots completed tours in November.

- SkyTrack

During November we were very excited to release SkyTrack - our flight tracking and logging software.

SkyTrack retrieves your booked flights, records flight data and then files a PIREP for you automatically. The SkyTrack Live Map on our website allows you to view and track all Fly UK flights currently taking place by pilots using SkyTrack.

You can use SkyTrack to record all your flights at Fly UK (excluding flying club and training flights).

We have made an information page which contains a download link and FAQs - we hope this will address most of the common questions you will have relating to SkyTrack.

If you have any bug reports, PIREP issues or software problems, please use our SkyTrack Query form.

SkyTrack Patch v1.0.1 - If you are still using SkyTrack version 1.0, you need to install the version 1.0.1 patch.

We look forward to developing this project further, and hope you are excited about using SkyTrack!

- New Codeshare

After detailed negotiations, Fly UK Virtual Airways and woh|group are excited to report that we have reached a codeshare agreement with each other.

As of the 6th December 2010, Fly UK pilots will be able to fly a selection of routes from woh|group airlines using the relevant aircraft from woh|group. The hours will however, be logged at Fly UK. Vica-versa, woh|group pilots will be able to fly a selection of Fly UK routes in our aircraft for their log-books.

Fly UK Head of Operations, Robert Allen said, "Our new codeshare with woh|group will be an exciting project for everybody involved. I hope that it will offer members an interesting twist on our day-to-day operations and will allow you to explore new destinations in new aircraft. Notably, we are thrilled to have coverage for domestic routes within America, which we have been aiming to develop for a while. Furthermore we look forward to at least one joint event with woh|group in order to get together in one large gathering and have a great event."
