UKV1121 - Chris Sutcliffe
_________________________________________________New York JFK & Boston - New from Manchester! ________________________________________________ Fly UK is pleased to announce the first of some trial operations which hope you'll enjoy! Starting on the 27th November 2011, Manchester will see regular long-haul service to the United States, with a service operating to New York JFK four times per week and Boston three times per week. Flights will leave Manchester at 11.30am, operated by Boeing 757-200 G-FLBO. If these flights prove to be popular they will become permanent and will be upgraded to a 787-8 service once enough aircraft have arrived. We have arranged this launch to co-incide with the IVAO Atlantic Crossing event on the same day - http://flyuk.aero/y/atlantic. This is set to be an excellent event with lots of traffic and ATC coverage expected. We hope to see lots of UKV's taking part. Pilots are reminded that these flights pass through oceanic procedural airspace and as such pilots must be familiar with the procedures as described in NOTAM KILO. In addition, due to the changing weather patterns and pre-planned tracks, pilots are responsible for their own flight planning on these routes.--- ENDS --- For further information, please do not hesitate to contact us: Tom Agnew - Head of Operations tom.agnew[at]flyuk.aero
