Fly UK, in cooperation with IVAO UK, brings you the UK's busiest airport fully staffed on the 17th April.

From 1300z-1900z (1400 BST-2000 BST) on the 17th, Heathrow will be fully staffed with ATC.

Over 25 active positions will be opened by IVAO UK for the event with many of them being controlled live from their Virtual Area Control Centre in South-East England. They expect a few real London TMA controllers to join them to provide the finest ATC available.

Fly UK are proud to be getting involved!

If you wish to participate as Fly UK in this event, simply book a flight our own special booking system. These are special Fly UK flights and you can claim hours by filing a PIREP after the flight like any other flight booking. Furthermore you will be able to utilise the normal flight dispatch systems & operation info from Fly UK!

For Fly UK booking & details click here.

During the event, there will be a datalink clearance system in use at Heathrow. Full usage details can be found in the Pilot briefing guide HERE.

Due to the expected volume of traffic only flights booked through Fly UK, or IVAO UK will be accepted. (Fly UK booking system released shortly.) All other flights may be accepted subject to slot availability but could be diverted to Amsterdam, Brussels, Gatwick or Stansted.

If you like to be number 6 on the ILS, taxi behind 4 other aircraft towards the runway or join a holding pattern with several other aircraft, then this is the event for you. Flying with IVAO does not get more real than this!

We cannot stress how important it is that pilots read & understand the Pilot Briefing Guide before flying for this event. This can be found HERE.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the event topic here:
