Brilliant Displays
Posted 15 May 2006
How pleased am I this morning thinking back to last night and the airshow. The Displays were fantastic.Jamie Burford displayed the Tigermoth with ease, A very polished display indeed. After that Martin Beddow took the Chipmunk up for a brilliant show.
The show began, as planned with the Spread Eagles Parachute display team dropping out the back of the C-130 from 5000ft. Then after the Herc fly pass it got into formation as if it were refuelling a MH-53M Pavelow 4 Super Jolly Green Giant. After the fly pass of those aircraft they split to perform a simulated clandestine infiltration of special forces. With King Jolly clearing the way for Spread one to perform the Kaisan dive into the hostile area
Brian Franklin displayed his own Nimrod MR-2, Cool display with a large aircraft.
Individual displays were great from the Harrier GR-7 performed by Mark, the Typhoon and Tucano by Brandon, Hawk T-1 by Gaz, SU-37 by Matt and the Jet Provost with commentary by James RED 3
The British Bulldogs Had there first display with a little change to it half way through which was sorted out very fast. The Red Arrows escorted the new Fly 2, 737 into Kinloss flown by Carl.To Finnish the show with a small display by the Reds with only five pilot, we done our best. By that time i think everyone was tired.
WELL DONE
