Christmas gifts from Fly UK

Posted 25 Dec 2016

Christmas has arrived and Fly UK management has been feeling generous.

Firstly the 777F has now fully entered service a week earlier than planned. Pilots can now jump into the new routes the type provides in replacing the MD11F. We hope you enjoy the new aircraft over the festive period which if the delivery flight popularity is anything to go by, will be very popular.

Secondly, we announced recently that one of our retiring 747-400's is to be donated to Duxford air museum, sadly too big to wrap up. Members can try their hand at a short but very challenging flight to deliver the aircraft from its storage at Prestwick to Duxford. A challenging arrival and very short runway will be a good test so make sure that sherry has worn off first!   A full flight detail and comprehensive approach guide has been put together by David Campbell and Cameron Park on NOTAM HOTEL

Finally the Exec team wish all our members a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
