Codeshares Announced

Our public & corporate relations manager Lee Appleby [UKV1122] has recently been in discussions with 2 virtual airlines in regards to codeshare operations. We are pleased to announce discussions have been successful and we are proud to announce Air New Zealand Virtual and Sun Airways Virtual as our new virtual airline codeshare partners.

Sun Airways Codeshare Operation

Fly UK pilots can now fly a variety of sun airways flight in Australia which utilise a Sun Airways Boeing 737-700 aircraft.

Air New Zealand Codeshare Operation

 Fly UK pilots can now fly a variety of Air New Zealand flights which utilise Airbus A320, Boeing 737, Beechcraft 1900D & ATR72-500 aircraft.

Codeshare Operations

Our codeshare partners aircraft can be downloaded from the Fly UK download centre.

Pilots flying codeshare routes MUST use the specific airlines aircraft specified on the codeshare timetable.

If flying online on IVAO, pilots must use their normal Fly UK callsign but state in the comments section of their flightplan that the flight is a codeshare flight by simply adding: Operated behalf of either Sun Airways/Air New Zealand  

Pilots can only fly codeshare routes which utilise aircraft they are cleared to fly according to their Fly UK pilot rank.

When filing a pirep, codeshare flights are located in the other flights section of the pirep form.
