Posted 29 Sep 2018

Following on from the success of the Topa Sky Franchise, Fly UK is proud to announce the addition of North American operator Aurora to its franchise network. Based in Vancouver and Anchorage the operation covers the Covers the Western territories of Canada and Alaska, an area very popular with Fly UK members.

Aurora's existing market serves and supports the growing industries of oil, lumber, and other raw material exports, and essential air service contracts. Aurora offers an affordable way for workers in the industry to move both the labour force and supplies in a comfortable and efficient way.

Fly UK groups influence will also bring a new dimension to the franchise by expanding conventional passenger services within the region as well as to the major cities of Canada and Alaska as well as cross border links to our codeshare partner Metroair’s USA Network.

Aurora is set to join the group early in the new year, and currently Fly UK management is assessing the fleet which is likely to retain its current mix of small prop aircraft (including amphibious operations), specialised regional jets as well as adding capacity in the way introduction of a short to medium range airliner. Katrina Hancock will lead the Aurora franchise and joined that operation team recently for this specific opportunity based on her extensive knowledge and passion airline operations in this region.

Branding wise Aurora comes with a varied array of colours linked directly to the name. You can expect liveries to be vibrant and bold!
