MyTravel Virtual Under New Ownership!

A deal has been finalised to put MyTravel Virtual (www.mytvirtual.co.uk) into new ownership. Chris Miley, former Assistant Chief Executive Officer has bought MyTravel Virtual from former CEO Josh Moody. The new VA will be part of The Fly UK Group (www.flyukva.com) but will remain a separate VA.
MyTravel Virtual CEO Chris Miley commented:
'This is a great day for MyTravel Virtual. I will build upon the hard work of the staff and members of the VA to make MyTravel Virtual the best UK virtual charter airline. The new VA will be much more realistic with some stricter procedures but will be more organised with fully customised and automated systems offering first class facilities for its pilots. We will offer our pilots a Flight Simulation experience that is realistic and second to none, based on real MyTravel Airways operations. Being part of the Fly UK group offers the VA security, and a wealth of knowledge and know how from an already established VA, we'll be working very closely together!
The VA will undergo a full restructure and we anticipate that this work will be completed by August 2007 at the latest. The VA will remain open so that current pilots can log their hours using FSAcars only. During the time that we are creating the new website and new systems we would like to request pilots to bear with us through any difficult times and we can promise that the new VA will be well worth the wait, so watch this space!'
The website will be moving to a new domain 'www.mytravelvirtual.com' within the next month. The Crew Forums will also be closed but a new forum will be opened on the new domain, as well as a new TeamSpeak server to offer current MyTravel Virtual pilots a place to stay in touch and a place to chat. A decision will be made on the new members of the Staff Team within the week and a few other ideas and proposals will also be finalised within the week.
