Senior Team take on Kai Tak

Members of the staff team were recently invited to visit Virtual Flight Experience, a new Flight Simulator Experience Centre based in the Midlands and owned and operated by Fly UK member Steve Mount.
Chris Sutcliffe, Adam Hillier, Matt Lewis and Richard Jones made the trip to spend several hours with Steve and have a turn on his very professional and authentic 737-800 set-up which is aimed at providing professional training through to casual simulator experiences. The staff team were thoroughly impressed and we hope to work with Steve in the future to bring some real-world events to Fly UK, of which more detail will come in time. For the fun part of the visit Chris, Richard and Matt took on a circuit and landing at Kai Tak, with a full wrap around projection screen its a very immersive experience as shown on Chris' run below. Adam opted for his natural hunting ground of a cloudy, wet and miserable Gatwick. Only one pilot needed a go-around but we'll try not to pile too much embarrassment on who it was, avoid Guernsey flights is all we'll say ;)
