Summer Operations changes

Posted 31 Mar 2019

Summer schedules go live at midnight 31st March for many of our divisions. Those affected by the changes are as follows.

Mainstream

All mainstream bases switch to summer operations. Alongside the usual seasonal routes, notable changes are as follows.
  • LHR - Introduction of the new B747-8i on a number of high density routes
  • LHR - Type rotation on some 777/747 routes as well as B738/A320/A321 routes in order to freshen the choice for our members.
  • LGW - Addition of ex LHR B747-400's adding expanded and new long haul services
  • MAN/EDI - Hubs have exchanged fleet with A320's now residing at MAN and B738's to EDI
  • EDI - Added two B787-8's on long haul services as a trial

Highland Connect

Added additional Saab340's and a long overdue refresh of the Highland Connect schedules provides new services including Cardiff and a new ops base on the Isle of Man.

Topa Sky
For Topa it’s a switch to their winter schedules. Main change is addition of a new Auckland - Vancouver route served by Boeing 787-9 to strengthen the connecting point between Topa and Aurora networks, as well as Mainstream.

We hope our member enjoy all these changes as we the days get longer.
