Posted 25 Jan 2016

We are delighted to announce that our Training Academy has recruited two new instructors: Dave Baggs UKV1283 and Iain Fleming UKV1549. They join Darren Klenk and Peter Faase, our Training Director, to form a team which is now up to strength and has a wealth of both flight sim and real world aviation experience and expertise.  The TA team are also working on a new and updated suite of training courses and documentation, which will be phased in this year.

The Training Academy provides three services:

·         ‘Self help’ documents covering a wide range of subjects.
·         Training courses aiming to help our members get the best out of our hobby and also covering a wide range subjects. In line with our company ethos, these courses are delivered in a ‘fun and friendly’ manner and receive much positive feedback.  They are delivered as a 1-2-1 session with each course typically taking 1 hour.
·         Formal assessments for the VATSIM P1 and P2 ratings.
