We're Recruiting Staff!

As part of Fly UK's recent on going re-structure, we have 2 staff position vacancies. Before you read on, let us make clear, that although flight simming is only a hobby, becoming a staff member does require you to spend more time working with us behind the scenes, showing commitment, dedication & enthusiasm to contribute to the smooth operation and professional up keep of Fly UK. We do take managing the VA very seriously, although make our wokring envioronment mostly informal, friendly and make it an enjoyable team to be part of and work with. As some of you may know, we have a varied staff team of all ages, some very funny characters and all working together, you will find it is usually a very good laugh while remaining productive, everyone helping each other to deliver one of the UK's best virtual aviation experiences.

We currently have the following 2 staff vacancies:

Scheduled Operations Manager

  • Review/maintain scheduled flights database and ensure all data for each flight is correct and present, making changes where necessary.
  • Continually review statistics of scheduled flights, highlight any concerns you may have at staff meetings.
  • You are responsible for the scheduled flight network, you should suggest new routes, route replacements/removals as you see fit.
  • You are also responsible for assigning flight times and aircraft for scheduled routes, you may also change aircraft route assignment  from time to time as you see fit.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and keeping up to date the scheduled flights page of our website.
  • As a staff member, you are required to assist the rest of the staff in helping members with general enquiries as well as specific scheduled route related enquiries received in our staff inbox, forums, your personal inbox or on Teamspeak.
  • As a staff member you will also be expected to attend our weekly management meetings on Sundays at 19.00 BST, provide a staff profile, show enthusiasm and dedication. You will also receive an @flyukva.com email address.
