The Silk Road

Tour Description

The Silk Road was an ancient trade route that linked the Western world with the Middle East and Asia. It was a major conduit for trade between the Roman Empire and China and later between medieval European kingdoms and China.

Our tour traces the route from what was then Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul) through Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and through China to Beijing.

This is a Class E tour, whilst the jets are permitted the leg distance and timings are based on turboprop performance. For the ultimate challenge take the small props, you're still better off than horse and cart ;)

Please note this tour is built on MSFS, if using other platforms ensure the leg destinations are available to you in the sim. Please also be aware some legs have airfields not recognised by Simbrief, full routes are provided in the tour legs.
