Fly UK 2006 Real Life Events

In 2006, as our Fly UK community continues to grow on our forums and teampseak servers, there appears to be a growing demand in the number of requests from members for real life meet ups, so we can put faces to voices and meet each other in the real world.

We are planning to organise a calendar of real world Fly UK events by the end of January, organising events up and down the UK in the attempt to make it convenient for members around the country to attend at least 1 event near to them. Planning in advance is key, enabling members make plans and nothing is then last minute.

First of all, we would like members to reply to our forum thread suggesting ideas for possible meet ups, air shows we could possibly attend, places we could visit, simulators we could make use of etc.

Feel free to post and discuss in our forum or you can contact me directly by emailing me at chris@flyukva.com, send me a message via the message centre, skype call Fly UK head office and ask for Chris or catch me on teamspeak.

For any ideas which appear to attract allot of interest, or for events we are likely to go ahead with, we will create a sticky in the forum, where we would like members who are thinking of attending the event, to reply and tell us, so we can have an idea of numbers and determine of the event will be viable to run, obviously we will keep a list of names and numbers of people wanting to attend each event.
