Fly UK is recruiting and staff updates
Posted 26 Feb 2026
We would like to announce some changes within the Fly UK Staff Team that have taken place over the previous few weeks, as well as some opportunities that now exist to join our team and support Fly UK and its community.
Firstly, we bid goodbye to Matt Crick, who has stepped down from his Head of HR & Support Services role. Matt has been an integral part of the VA staff team as well as along term member, helping many members and supporting the community as a whole for a long time. Matt's silent work in the background, in addition to his public-facing work had been vital to the success of the VA, and we wish him well as he seeks to offload some commitments in his virtual world and enjoy simming as a member once again. Matt continues to be present in our community platforms, and I'm sure he will continue to help members as and when able. I'd like to personally thank Matt for his years of dedication in an often thankless role.
