Fly UK announces the following fleet changes for Q4 2017

Regional Jet expansion

Fly UK has agreed terms with a North American carrier to acquire six Bombardier CRJ700 series aircraft. Set to arrive in November, the aircraft will initially be based in Birmingham and Southampton serving domestic and European mainstream routes.

The CRJ will become our Class E jet option once the final 737-700 retires.

Highland Connect

Following a less than successful time with Highland Connect it’s been decided to retire the JS41 Jetstream from the fleet. As part of the same CRJ deal, two additional B1900D's have been purchased and will arrive from North America to replace two of the three retiring JS41's. The routes for the third from Aberdeen to Bergen and Stavanger will transfer to Nordic Sky.
