FLY2 is Ready - Come and Have a Look

FLY2 is the brand name for Fly UK's low cost flights. Over the last few months we have been working hard on totally revamping FLY2. We're pleased to say our work is complete, and here is the result, we hope you like it...

So, whats new?

Red! Lots of it. We've done away with the standard Fly UK blue and introduced a smart new logo and branding across the FLY2 website, aircraft and promotional material.

We've introduced a new aircraft type, the Boeing 737-500. This classic 737 type will be in service for a limited period, we are leasing the aircraft until our shiny new 737NGs arrive from Seattle. The existing Boeing 737-700's sport our smart new livery and FLY2 branding, credit goes to Lee Appleby for coming up with this fresh, striking new livery.

In terms of aircraft downloads, we've pretty much got it covered. We have freeware downloads for both FS2004 and FSX, as well as repaints for the popular PMDG and feelThere/Wilco payware addons. You'll find the downloads on the FLY2 aircraft page. We'd like to thank Lee Appleby and Matt Lewis for the outstanding textures and also Ken Hall, William Hall and the rest of the team who have spent their spare time testing the downloads, and helping us get them ready for you.

Our operations team have been busy searching the continent for new destinations, we've also nicked a few from the likes of real world airlines such as Ryanair, but dont tell them. From the sunny Costa's to emerging eastern European cities, we've got it covered. Many of our flights operate into secondary airports, rather than the busy, expensive major hubs. With FLY2 you'll discover plenty of new destinations that are both challenging and visually interesting (and maybe some you've never heard of!). Last but not least, did we mention we had a new website? Get a feel for the FLY2 brand and what it's all about. FLY2 aims to simulate the operations of a low cost carrier. The website is home to a whole host of information, from aircraft specifications to base information and operational info packs. You can search and book flights, and view statistics to see how we're doing. Thanks to Chris for designing the new website and brand, and to Tom Thake for making it work.
