Another Flying Club Tour to partner our New Zealand Tour , this time in Australia - or should we say around Australia with a distance covered of 6577nm and 52 Tour legs. The members of the Flying Club are really pulling out the stops to bring your VFR flying to new levels.
"Fly half way around the world and then all the way round Australia in another great tour put together by one of the Flying Club members.....
Our tour begins and ends at Brisbane International Airport and hops around the coast in a gigantic six and a half thousand mile journey. Really a trip of a lifetime!"
The sheer size of Australia becomes apparent when the tour flies into Western Australia where some of the legs take over 2 hours and one over 3! Do some of the legs at early dusk over the big cities and see some fabulous sites - including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Fly from Prosperine over the Great Barrier Reef and its turquoise waters and perhaps read a book while flying over the vast widerness of parts of Western Australia!
