The Flying club have been at it again. Working hard for the light aircraft lovers bringing them another tour to enjoy. The New Zealand tour has been designed to include some of the most scenic areas of the country. Starting from the South Island you'll make your way up through the country to the north.
With over 1320nm to cover and 39 individual airports to visit this is sure to keep you busy for a while. Here is a short description:
"Our antipodes tour will delight many Fly UK members. Some may enjoy flying into places with familiar sounding names - Glenorchy; while others could spend a day touring Matamata - perhaps unknown to some but also known as Hobbiton and famous for the movie set for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy; New Zealand is also famous for some special volcanoes and hot springs.
So if your interest is spectacular scenery, movies of Middle Earth or just VFR flying of the best then this tour is for you."
