Dear Members,
Some good news for those that have the B712 in their hangers, the tours have all been recently reviewed and this aircraft should now appear on the list of bookable aircraft on more tours. Also, our Fly UK AI and VMR download has been updated to v4.05 and now includes the full fleet of our aircraft - this should be on the website soon.
The end of British Summer time on the 28th October means our weekly event times alter to zulu +1, so our for example our Saturday morning 0600z will become 0700z.
Last month's activity at Fly UK had an average of 308 unique pilots per week filing a PIREP in September. We received 1,981 Mainstream PIREPs, 763 Tour PIREPs and 475 Flying Club PIREPs. Membership numbers currently stand at 1,017

Operations
Quick reminder to all pilots the October is the last month for the summer schedules for mainstream before changing on Oct 31st. Fly2 switches mid November so there's a little longer left yet to get your favourite summer holiday destinations in.
Franchise News
We have now announced our last franchise expansion to the Fly UK group due to join us over the winter. Aurora, based in Western Canada and Alaska, gives us coverage in a members firm favourite world area, particularity for our prop fans.
Fleet
For any that may have missed the new story, Fly UK have confirmed that the Boeing 747-8 F will be joining the fleet soon. We'll confirm what date it will enter service in due course.
Flying Club
New Ad Hoc tours have been added. These are non-standard tours either for specific air frames, or have specific restrictions applied or lifted. This month, we have a tour for PIPER CUB only, a BEECHCRAFT Special and a no-restriction Amphibian tour The next review of tours is planned for 01 December 2018.
This month, in our Wednesday / Sunday Flying Club flights held on the FSD Server, we continue our tour of the USA with our West to East adventure, which comes to a completion this month.

Online Events
Vatsim have announced improvements to their systems coming soon, that will improve communication quality. More news in our forums.
Events are currently held on the FSD, Saturday at 0600z and repeated on VATSIM, Tuesday at 1830z and Thursday at 1300z.
Remember, online events have no rank restrictions so it's a chance to fly different airframes.
Our IVAO event is on a weekly basis on Sundays at 1230z and is the return journey from the Saturday event. Please see the Event Calendar
