INTRODUCTION TO THE EVENT:
Fly UK are pleased to announce that there will be a social gathering and flight sim enthusiasts group meeting at Sherburn Aero Club on Saturday 2nd of February. This is open to anyone who wishes to come along, Fly UK members will be there from 10:00am and will be joined by members of Sherburn Aero Club which include GA pilots, commercial pilots and other flight sim enthusiasts.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Sherburn Aero Club is an active general aviation airfield in Yorkshire. The club
is now setting up a flight simulation club based at the Aero Club, this is
something Fly UK are also going to be working with Sherburn Aero Club on and get
involved with. We hope to host many future events at the club.
The 2nd of February is the first meeting for people involved in the new flight
sim club and we are inviting members of Fly UK to come along for the day for a
social gathering, to promote Fly UK Virtual Airways, and anyone interested in
joining the aero clubs flight sim group can get involved in the discussions on
plans for the club. We will have several computers and setups on the day with
people demonstrating flight simulator and online flying as well as presentations
and leaflets etc. Our friends at IVAO will also be joining us to demonstrate the
controlling side of online flying.
This is a perfect opportunity for members of the VA to get together in one
location and have a good day and
also a good laugh, we hope to see as many people there as possible, as the more
people who turn up the better
the day will be. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the 2nd
of February from 10:00am.
