Summer Sim 2010 - 28th/29th August 2010 - RAF Cosford Museum - Real World Event!

Fly UK are pleased to announce that we will be an official exhibitor at the Summer Sim 2010 event at the RAF Museum Cosford, taking place all day on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th August 2010.
Astrasim Expo Ltd present the UK's largest gathering of developers and publishers from across the globe. Add to that the thousands of enthusiasts with everyone from ATC to Virtual Airlines attending. This promises to be one of the largest events this year.
Official Event Website: http://www.astrasimexpo.co.uk
Fly UK will be exhibiting a small stand to show ourselves off. We will have various promotional leaflets and media, but the best promotional material is our members! A group of staff & members will be staying for the duration of the event (overnight) to "man" the stand.
We would like to see as many members on the day as possible - and if you are planning on staying for any length of time we would be delighted for you to help out on the stand. This would simply involve being around the stand, talking to visitors & other members, and generally enjoying the day. The exhibition should be interesting with a predicted 5000 visitors and many other stands with simulators, flight sim equipment & discounted software. There will be plenty of time for everybody helping out to walk around, have breaks & get food etc (it's very relaxed!) - so please don't worry about being "committed" if you would like to help us out.
We are also interested to hear from any members who may have contacts within the printing/design industry as we will require some printing for leaflets/banners, but as a Non-Profit organisation must seek to find the cheapest possible way of doing this. Please email the CEO on the address at the bottom of this PR if you are able to assist with this.
Further details regarding exact timings, hotel suggestions & a detailed programmed will be released to all members nearer to the time.
Please could members who are planning to attend the event as a visitor and/or to help out at the stand post this in the attendance thread here: https://flyuk.aero/en/community-forums/...?showtopic=9601
(Please specify which day(s) and for roughly how long you plan on staying. This is just to give us an accurate idea of numbers.)
Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or suggestions about this event. We are certainly looking forward to it!
