Fly UK Virtual Airways are pleased to announce that a new position has now become available within the Staff Team. Becoming a member of the Fly UK Staff Team is both an exciting and challenging commitment, however the utmost of dedication is required at all times.
Position: Training Academy Manager
Closing Date: Monday 31st March 2008
In this position you will be responsible for training Fly UK members as well as aiding elsewhere within Fly UK wherever needed.
Areas you will be responsible for include:
• Training members of Fly UK to a very high standard on a variety of flight simulation subjects and skills.
• Assisting in the creation of training documents for the general use of Fly UK.
• Attending events both in-house and on either IVAO or VATSIM to aid pilots who may be new to online flying.
• Testing new Fly UK aircraft packages to deliver an accurate and fair verdict and offering suggestions to improve them, if applicable.
It is also important that the candidate meets the following:
• The candidate must have a thorough understanding of online flying, either on IVAO and/or VATSIM, and must be 100% comfortable with ATC procedures and phraseology.
• The candidate must also have a very good knowledge of popular payware aircraft packages and must be familiar with the systems.
• The candidate must also understand how to read charts, this is fundamentally important as this will be one of the training areas.
• The candidate must be confident in instructing pilots on various different aspects on Flight Simulation to a high standard.
