UK base operations changes

Posted 27 Sep 2017

Fly UK is making several changes to its operations at its UK bases commencing 1st October. Many of these updates change stand allocations which no longer exist or provide better utilisation.

For offline flyers, several updated AFCAD files will be uploaded to reflect these changes in our downloads sections shortly.

Heathrow
From 1st October all LHR operations will switch to Terminal 2. This move allows us to escape the congestion of T3 which we moved to following the closure of T1. Moving to T2 provides a more stable and longer-term base of operations at our primary hub.

Gatwick
Following BA's departure from the North Terminal we expand our gates to provide more flexibility to Fly UK Mainstream and Fly2 operating at LGW
