Winter Schedules 2016/17

Winter schedules are now live with many new routes and destinations to choose from. Of significant change is the winter holiday routes for FLY2 seeing its final step to seasonal holiday charter brand and the introduction of the 737-800.
 
Key changes across the Network are as follows:

Mainstream
  • 787 now in active service
  • 737-700 now in use on Domestic and select European services
  • New European routes from Birmingham to Geneva and Milan
  • New European routes from Gatwick to Porto, Krakow, Vilnius, Wroclaw and Ljubljana
  • New Long Haul routes from Heathrow to Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Dehli, Newark and Mexico City

 FLY2
  • 737-800 replaces 737-700
  • New FLY2 base structure implemented with LGW/MAN main hubs and a wide range of regional UK airports served by shared airframes
  • Summer routes withdrawn from most Mediterranean and mainland Europe holiday destinations
  • Continuing services: Madeira; The Canaries (Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria and Tenerife), Malta, Pahpos, Faro and Alicante
  • New winter sun routes:
    • Cape Verde – Sal, Boa Vista
    • Gambia – Banjul.
    • Morroco - Agadir, Marrakesh
  • Winter destinations added for all popular European Ski resorts covering Andorra, Austria, France, Italy, Norway, Germany and Switzerland
 
Our summer Palma base has now closed for winter season however two aircraft have now been based at Geneva to support the winter ski season routes.

Finally, three 757's have moved across the pond and are now on wet lease from Montreal, fully crewed and operating under UKV callsign. These are operating on Canadian charter holiday services to the Caribean, Mexico and the USA.
