Two million, two hundred and eighty-one thousand, one hundred and seventy-six miles. That is the combined distance flown by each pilot who took on our 2025 Formula 1 Tour.
After a combined 5,196 hours in the air, the 2025 tour is over.
But the 2026 tour is already here as we set off again around the world on a new route across six continents and new destinations for the 2026 Formula 1 season.
Here is a recap of the 2025 tour statistics.
The 2025 Tour: By the Numbers
- 57 unique pilots participated in the tour
- 1,158 total flights completed across all legs
- 2,281,176 miles flown collectively
- 5,196 hours in the air (that's 216.5 continuous days of flying)
- 43.9% completion rate with 25 pilots finishing all 35 legs
Well done to the 25 dedicated pilots who completed all 35 legs of the 2025 tour. Your commitment is impressive, and that award is well earned.
Fleet Favourites: The Aircraft of 2025
Our pilots flew a diverse range of aircraft throughout the 2025 tour, but some clear favourites emerged:
1. Airbus A350-900 (Fly UK) - 276 flights (23.8%)
2. Boeing 777-200LRF (Cargo) - 228 flights (19.7%)
3. Airbus A330-972 (Cetan) - 127 flights (11.0%)
4. Airbus A380-842 (Fly UK) - 82 flights (7.1%)
5. Airbus A320-214 (Fly UK) - 70 flights (6.0%)
The Airbus A350-900 proved to be the aircraft of choice, featuring in nearly 1 out of every 4 flights. Its combination of range, efficiency, and modern systems made it perfect for the long-haul legs that defined much of the tour.
Simulators Flown:
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020: 634 flights (54.7%)
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024: 399 flights (34.5%)
- X-Plane**: 118 flights (10.2%)
- Prepar3D**: 7 flights (0.6%)
Introducing the F1 2026 Season Tour
As one journey ends, another begins without much of an off-season to speak of. Our Formula 1 2026 Season Virtual Tour officially launches on Saturday, February 1st, 2026.
This year's tour features 34 legs following the F1 calendar around the globe, with some new destinations.

New Destinations for 2026
Jakarta (WIII - Soekarno-Hatta International Airport)
Making its debut on the tour, Jakarta takes you to Indonesia's bustling capital. This long-haul leg from Bahrain will test your endurance as you cross the Indian Ocean, navigating through one of Southeast Asia's busiest airspace environments. With its sprawling megacity setting and challenging tropical weather patterns, Jakarta promises to be one of the tour's most memorable arrivals.
Paris (LFPG - Charles de Gaulle Airport)
Charles de Gaulle's complex runway system and dense traffic make this a perfect test of your IFR skills. The transatlantic crossing from Montreal sets up a spectacular arrival over the French countryside.
Madrid (LEMD - Madrid-Barajas Airport)
Spain's majestic capital joins the tour with its brand new F1 circuit. Madrid-Barajas is situated at an elevation of 2,000 feet, necessitating careful performance calculations, particularly during the warm Spanish summer. The approach offers stunning views of the Guadarrama mountains, making this leg a photographer's dream.
Panama City (MPTO - Tocumen International Airport)
Serving as a crucial transit point in our Americas swing, Panama City represents the crossroads of two continents. This strategic hub connects our South American leg from São Paulo to the glitz of Las Vegas, taking you through the Panama Canal corridor and over Central America's diverse terrain.
Leipzig (EDDP - Leipzig/Halle Airport)
Germany's historic aviation and logistics hub joins the tour as a transit point on our transatlantic crossing from Las Vegas to Doha. Leipzig's Cargo hub status means you'll be navigating busytraffic patterns—perfect for those who love the operational complexity of a working airport.
Seoul (RKSI - Incheon International Airport)
One of Asia's most modern and efficient airports, Incheon serves as our gateway between the Singapore leg and the North American swing via Anchorage. This addition creates one of the tour's most challenging multi-leg sequences, testing both our pilots' and the sim's endurance.

The 2026 route takes you on an epic journey:
