Staff Team Changes & Franchise news

Information on recent changes to the Fly UK Staff Team.

Staff Team Changes & Franchise news
We are delighted to announce two Operations staff team changes as we embark on our next adventure and strengthen the current operations team structure.

Highland Connect
Kevin Peeters will expand his current role to add Highland Connect to his area of responsibility alongside Nordic Sky. With the two franchises operating closely geographically, it made perfect sense for the two to be managed together thus providing us opportunity to improve integration for the whole Fly UK group network.

New Franchise Manager
Welcome to Philip Harris who has accepted the position of new franchise manager. Philip has previously served on the staff team and was very keen to contribute again. Along with the right skill set, Philip also has experience and passion for the area of new franchise ops that will feature.

New Franchise News
In conjunction with Philips appointment we are pleased to confirm that our new Franchise will be a step away from the normal areas for the Fly UK group and will be initially based in New Zealand providing coverage across New Zealand and western Australia. We have just completed acquisition of a small regional airline of which more detail will follow in time. Our intention however is to expand and build the franchise in an area that was the first choice for expansion voted for by our members in our recent survey, but one that is not well represented in the VA community. Ultimately, we look to bring an exciting expansion to the Fly UK global network alongside our existing franchise operations and codeshare partners. We look forward to bringing you more detail on this new franchise over the course of the year.
