Training Academy - FSX GameSpy Sessions

Fly UK is pleased to announce that our Training Academy is now offering a further enhancement to any FSX training courses...

Fly UK Virtual Airways are pleased to announce that our Training Academy is now offering a further enhancement to any FSX training academy courses. Any FSX pilot who would like to do any of our courses, where flying alongside the instructor might be an advantage in learning the subject, can now request for the course to be covered as a 'FSX GameSpy' training session.

This will enable any Fly UK pilots who, having signed up for a GameSpy account for free, will be able to join his/her instructor in their cockpit and see and take part in an interactive session of learning.

By using GameSpy with FSX, this allows the flying pilot to have exclusive control of the aircraft's main flying surfaces and engines and the non flying pilot to have control of secondary surfaces and instruments such as the flaps, landing gear, navigational radio stack etc.

At any time the flying and non-flying pilots can change roles and this will allow the instructor to demonstrate a manoeuvre for example and the student will then be able to try the manoeuvre, thus increasing the realism of lesson as if were a real world flying lesson.

The Fly UK Training Academy are also pleased to announce that in the near future, multi-pilot flying on our FSD server and on VATSIM will be available as Training Academy courses.
