❤️ To our incredible Fly UK community… THANK YOU! ❤️

What an absolutely amazing achievement!

I was going to wait until tomorrow to post this, but having just got home, still buzzing despite only having had three hours' sleep in the last 38, I needed to get this off my brain before the fatigue catches up with me!

I honestly cannot put into words how grateful I am for the unbelievable support you have shown us during this week's Worldflight Challenge. I know the whole team shares those sentiments.

Together, we initially set ourselves a target of raising £3,000 for cancer research. Mid-week, we ambitiously doubled that target as the fundraising trend suggested we could achieve it. And thanks to the generosity, kindness and incredible spirit of this community, we haven't just reached that target – we've smashed it!

I'm also blown away by the quality of the teamwork, dedication and production that came together in such a short space of time. Many in our community probably won't appreciate just how late in the day so much of this was pulled together, or the sheer amount of effort behind the scenes that went into making it happen.

To see everyone pull together, deliver such an incredible experience and do it all for such a worthwhile cause has been genuinely inspiring.

The pilot team were there whenever they were needed, pulling some insane shifts, all planned and executed admirably by Marty P. Not only that, our host Chris put in a huge amount of personal time and investment to get his sim ready for his fellow UKV members. Along with his wife Mia, he also opened up their home to us, and they were both incredible hosts throughout.

I've been part of this community for over 15 years now, and I can honestly say I've never felt so rewarded by the effort people have put in, the support we've received and the result we've achieved.

I've not felt this tired in a long time, but I also haven't laughed as hard as I have this week, or felt so rewarded by friendships that extend far beyond the internet and our virtual skies. This, to me, is what Fly UK is, and what it should always be. I hope you all enjoyed being part of it, whether you were with us in person, supporting us in spirit or following along on the streams.

Every donation, every share, every message of encouragement and every bit of support has helped us get here. It is a wonderful reminder of what makes Fly UK such a special community. We're not just a group of people who share a passion for aviation; we're a community that comes together, supports one another and can make a real difference when it matters.

Cancer touches so many lives, whether directly or through family and friends, and knowing that our efforts will help support the vital work being done in cancer research makes this achievement even more meaningful.

To everyone who donated, helped spread the word, cheered us on or supported the challenge in any way, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Donations remain open until the end of November, so its not too late if you still want to take part.

You have all played a part in something truly special, and you should be incredibly proud of what we've achieved together. We will post the results of the prize draw tomorrow in case you missed it.

£6,000 was our target. Together, we proved that the sky really is the limit! ✈️❤️

With sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to every single one of you.

YOU ARE AMAZING, FLY UK! ❤️
